Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh signed a contract extension through 2026 on Wednesday.AP COLUMBUS, Ohio — Jim Harbaugh came out of the 2020 season embattled and probably a bit embarrassed, forced to accept a pay cut to continue his tenure as Michigan football coach. On Wednesday, he agreed to a contract extension that will keep him in Ann Arbor through 2026. It will also pay him more than $7 million annually. That restores much of the salary he gave back a year earlier, when both he and the Wolverines seemed ambivalent about his tenure.
