Ohio State basketball falls to No. 22 in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Following another 1-1 week, the Ohio State basketball team has again dropped in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll coming in at No. 22. The Buckeyes started the week on a positive note with a 25-point win over Minnesota. But then responded with a double-digit loss to Iowa at home despite initially jumping out to a 21-10 lead on Saturday. They will look to bounce back from that loss tonight when they host Indiana. This is the second straight week OSU has fallen in the poll, and the second time it’s been ranked lower than 20 during the 16 weeks it has been ranked. Despite falling and Michigan State dropping out altogether after an 0-2 week, Ohio State is still not the lowest-ranked Big Ten team. That honor goes to the Hawkeyes coming in at No. 25.
