
COLUMBUS, Ohio — The right people were in the perfect positions as the final seconds of regulation went down in Ohio State basketball’s 80-69 overtime win over Indiana. Malaki Branham had the ball on the left wing dribbling right, coming off an E.J. Liddell screen. He’d put together another quality night and had a chance to drive to the basket and tie the game. As he made his way to the hoop, he found Liddell. The Buckeyes’ leading scorer had struggled for most of the night, but at that moment, he found himself open and got a pass from Branham, dunking home the tying basket.
