Marianna Klochko, an associate professor of sociology and criminology of Eastern Europe at Ohio State, said the group gathered to raise awareness of violence against Ukrainians by the Russian military. “That’s what we’re here for — to show that people care, and that politicians should not give up,” Klochko, the adviser for The Ukrainian Society of The Ohio State University, said.
