COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio State basketball team’s two-game losing streak has put it in a must-win situation heading into its only regular-season matchup with Michigan State. The Buckeyes are still in a position to earn a top-four seed and a double bye in the Big Ten Tournament, but a loss to the Spartans would be devastating. In a situation where both teams end the season with eight losses, losing a head-to-head matchup would give MSU the tiebreaker. Throw Iowa into that mix and OSU can very quickly go from a four-seed to a five-seed, adding an extra day to its time in Indianapolis if they want to make a run next weekend.
