Ohio State awaits Big Ten tournament foe as No. 6 seed

Ohio State will open Big Ten tournament play as the No. 6 seed. After a senior day loss Sunday against Michigan, the Buckeyes will face the winner of a game between No. 14 seed Minnesota and No. 11 seed Penn State in the final game Thursday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The game will tip off 25 minutes after the conclusion of Thursday’s game between No. 10 seed Maryland and No. 7 seed Michigan State. That game will begin at 6:30 p.m., and both will be televised by the Big Ten Network. Should the Buckeyes win that game, they will face No. 3 seed Purdue in the Friday nightcap. Ohio State finished the regular season 19-10 overall and 12-8 in league play. Of those 12 wins, four came against the Golden Gophers and Nittany Lions.
