Ohio State basketball blows double-digit lead in 71-68 loss to Penn State in Big Ten Tournament


INDIANAPOLIS — Ohio State basketball’s time in the Big Ten Tournament was short-lived following a 71-68 upset loss to Penn State in the second round. The Buckeyes went from taking care of business for 30 efficient minutes to blowing a comfortable lead and absorbing another disappointing late-season loss. Myles Dread knocked down a three-pointer with 6:35 left to tie the game at 53 after the Buckeyes had nursed a nine-point lead for most of the second half, setting up an interesting finish. After E.J. Liddell made one of two free-throws, Seth Lundy followed with a three on the next possession as PSU took its first lead, only to be tied again by a Joey Brunk basket.
