
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State basketball is headed to the NCAA Tournament as a seven seed where it’ll face Loyola Chicago in Pittsburgh on Friday. The No. 10 seeded Ramblers finished this season with a 25-7 and 13-5 in the Missouri Valley Conference. The Buckeyes finished their regular season with a 19-10 record and 12-8 in the Big Ten but watched its time in the conference tournament end prematurely after an upset loss to Penn State in the second round. That loss has been part of a disappointing end to the season for OSU which has lost four of its last five games. “We need to play harder. If we don’t know that by now, something’s wrong, but we’ve got a week to get better,” E.J. Liddell said after the loss. “This is our longest break in a while.
