What 5-star WR Carnell Tate’s top 5 means to Ohio State football: Buckeyes Recruiting


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Brian Hartline is one step closer to starting what may be another impressive cycle of wide receiver recruiting for Ohio State football. As he wraps up an unofficial visit in South Bend, Indiana, Carnell Tate released a top five that includes the Buckeyes, Notre Dame, Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee. Tate is an Illinois native who transferred to IMG Academy for his junior and senior years of high school. Heading for the prep school in Florida while also being a member of the 7-on-7 team South Florida Express has allowed his stock to skyrocket over the last six months earning five-star status. Hartline may not go need heavy on receiver in this cycle as he did in 2022 with four commits.
