COLUMBUS, Ohio — In 2006-07, Ohio State football reached back-to-back BCS national championship games and men’s basketball played in the national championship game. At the time, there was no question which combined football and basketball program ruled the Big Ten. One could have argued that OSU sat atop all of college sports.
