
COLUMBUS, Ohio — After missing practically the entire 2021-22 season, Justice Sueing is returning for an extra year of eligibility for the Ohio State basketball team. Sueing was supposed to be among the Buckeyes’ top three players last season, but a groin injury that had carried over from the 2021 postseason limited him to just two games, scoring just 12 total points in wins over Akron and Niagara. This will technically be the fourth year Sueing’s been in Columbus during his basketball career. He spent his first two seasons at California, averaging 14.1 points in 63 games before transferring ahead of the 2019-20 season. He was forced to sit out the year because the NCAA’s one-time transfer rule had not yet been implemented.
