Sevyn Banks, a cornerback at Ohio State, has transferred to LSU football, the school announced on Tuesday. Banks, a fifth-year senior, made 15 starts in four seasons with the Buckeyes and was a third-team preseason All-American heading into this past season. He’s compiled 43 tackles and two interceptions in his collegiate career. At 6-foot-1 and 200 pounds, the Orlando native battled injuries throughout this past season. Banks started in all eight games for Ohio State the season prior and came into 2021-22 as a projected NFL Draft prospect.
