Ohio State football defensive lineman Noah Potter enters NCAA transfer portal

Ohio State reserve defensive lineman Noah Potter has put his name in the NCAA transfer portal, a team spokesman confirmed Saturday. He is the Buckeyes’ second scholarship player to enter the portal since spring practice ended last week, following fellow defensive lineman Jacolbe Cowan who announced his departure on Monday. Potter spent three seasons with the Buckeyes, but was sidelined for all of last fall due to a series of setbacks. After recovering from a foot injury, he underwent emergency eye surgery for a torn retina in October. He last appeared in four games in 2020 and totaled two tackles.
