
COLUMBUS, Ohio — A former Ohio State football star is welcoming Nicholas Petit-Frere into the NFL. The Tennessee Titants, coached by former Buckeyes player and coach Mike Vrabel, selected Petit-Frere in the third round of the NFL Draft with the 69th overall pick. Petit-Frere is the highest-selected OSU offensive tackle since the Lions selected Taylor Decker in 2016?s first round. He joins a Titans squad with an established, veteran left tackle in former Michigan first-rounder Taylor Lewan — a three-time Pro Bowler. He may have a more immediate chance at playing time at right tackle. Tennessee’s top returning player there is 2021 second-round pick Dillon Radunz.
