
It may only be May, but here’s a bit of college football news to get fired up about. College Gameday is coming to Columbus. ESPN announced Tuesday that Week 1?s Midwest showdown between Ohio State and Notre Dame will be the site of the iconic college football pregame show on Sept. 3. With both teams expected to be ranked in the Top 10 of the initial Associated Press poll, the matchup between Midwest power programs is sure to draw plenty of eyeballs to start the season. It also features the Fighting Irish’s first-year head coach Marcus Freeman, a Dayton native, who returns to Ohio State where he was a standout linebacker for the Buckeyes.
