COLUMBUS, Ohio — The summer has arrived, which means camp and official visit season is upon us for the Ohio State football program. The Buckeyes like doing the bulk of their official visits in the summer allowing them to focus all attention on recruiting without worrying about preparing for a game. Taking that approach has often lead to an avalanche of commitments once the month is over. While every weekend is important, typically one of them serves as the headliner. It’s often been the first weekend as a way to set a tone. But that’ll change this year as OSU holds off until June 24 where 18 of the 30 players with official visits schedule will take place.
