Ohio State football courts 5-star edge rusher Matayo Uiagalelei; Notables show out in Las Vegas: Buckeyes Recruiting Roundup


COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio State football program’s ability to pay attention to detail on the recruiting trail continues to better position the Buckeyes to land some of the nation’s elite talent. That was again on display over the weekend as the Buckeyes welcomed back five-star edge rusher Matayo Uiagalelei from St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, California. He recently visited Ohio State for the spring game back in April. At 6-foot-5, 255 pounds, the highly sought-after target is the No. 2 edge and the nation’s No. 21 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the 247sports.com composite.
