COLUMBUS, Ohio — One 2023 prospect picked up an offer after an impressive throwing display in front of Ohio State head coach Ryan Day and quarterbacks coach Corey Dennis at a camp earlier this month. Another was offered while he was 600 miles away at home in Memphis, basking in the post-visit glow of a trip to Auburn. Austin Novosad and Brock Glenn, both unknown to the majority of Ohio State fans just a month ago, now find themselves squarely in the sights of Day and Dennis as the coaches search for a quarterback in the 2023 cycle. The pecking order, if there even is one, is unknown. Nonetheless, the pursuit is heating up. Novosad, a Baylor commit from Texas and the No. 13-ranked quarterback in the class, just wrapped up a weekend official visit to Ohio State.
