Ohio State men’s and women’s track and field coach Karen Dennis, whose 12 Big Ten championships are the most all-time by an OSU female coach, is retiring after 20 years with the Buckeyes. Dennis, who also coached cross country, told her team Monday she was leaving, just days after 22 Buckeyes competed in the NCAA Championships and three weeks after OSU won both the men’s and women’s Big Ten outdoor titles. Her dozen conference championships tie Mike Peppe (men’s swimming) for third most by OSU coaches.
