The league announced the additions of Southern California and UCLA late Thursday following a unanimous vote by the presidents and chancellors. They are set to join in 2024. Their memberships put the Big Ten on equal footing with the Southeastern Conference as the 16-team megaconferences within the Football Bowl Subdivision after the SEC poached Oklahoma and Texas last summer.
