A freshman point guard, Thornton arrived on campus in early June and has begun the process of acclimating himself to a new roster and higher level of competition. He’s hardly alone in that on a roster with five freshmen and three transfers, but things are starting to settle after four weeks. Those first seven days, however, were a bit of a doozy.
