What Miles Walker’s commitment means to Ohio State football: Buckeyes Recruiting


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football needed to find offensive tackles in its 2023 recruiting class to replenish a position that could very quickly be a spot of concern after the 2022 season. Technically they accomplished that. Justin Frye’s first job as the Buckeyes’ new offensive line coach was locking in Luke Montgomery, who’d lock been considered a lock to stay home. He checked that off within the first few weeks on the job. Whether Montgomery finishes his career as a tackle is to be determined, but he’ll at least start there. In Miles Walker, Frye added another player capable of filling the role as long as he adds the necessary weight to his 6-foot-6, 275-pound frame.
