Ohio State women’s basketball is heading to Louisville. The Big Ten Conference announced Monday that the Buckeyes will travel to Kentucky to face the Cardinals Nov. 30 as a part of the ACC/Big TenChallenge. In 2021-22, Ohio State lost its first game of the season in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge, losing 97-91 on the road against Syracuse despite 20-point performances by Taylor Mikesell and Jacy Sheldon. Ohio State ended its 2021-22 season in the Sweet 16 with a loss to Texas. In its history, Ohio State has won four of its 14 matchups in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge, last earning a victory against Louisville in 2019: the team’s 13th win against a top-five team in its history and its first win against the Cardinals.
