What 4-star LB Troy Bowles’ Georgia commitment means to Ohio State football: Buckeyes Recruiting


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football’s most likely linebacker commitments are still on the board, and its chances of landing both still remain high, but there was a chance that a third could be added to that list. Troy Bowles had been building a relationship with the Buckeyes as the nation’s No. 44 player and No. 2 linebacker dating back to last summer when he showed up for a camp in June. Al Washington started this relationship before heading off to Notre Dame, but things continued to remain strong after his departure. That was proven when he showed up for an official visit on June 24, providing OSU with one final push. Despite its efforts, that push wouldn’t be enough as the four-star recruit became the 14th member of Georgia’s recruiting class.
