Denzel Burke’s piece of $550,000 Ohio State football endorsement deal may send message to prospects


COLUMBUS, Ohio — American Eagle wants to use Denzel Burke to sell you skinny jeans and flannel shirts, and Ohio State football’s foray into name, image and likeness may have reached an inflection point. Burke is one of 41 current or former Buckeyes represented by NIL Management. The agency traded 185 emails over the span of a few months, according to founder Zach Beebe, to facilitate endorsement deals with American Eagle, Designer Shoe Warehouse and Value City Furniture. The Foundation, one of two prominent OSU booster collectives, also helped seal this deal. Burke and three of his teammates will net $550,000 for those ad campaigns. Those teammates — C.J.
