Expectations remain high for Ohio State football heading into the 2022 season. As fall camp looms for the Buckeyes, ESPN is raising expectations even higher. ESPN’s College Football Power Index gives the Buckeyes a 32.1% chance to win out the 2022 season, the highest percentage of any team in college football. The Buckeyes’ chances are 11.2% higher than second-place Georgia. Ohio State is the only team in the Big Ten with more than a 2% chance of finishing the 2022 season undefeated, with Michigan coming in at 1.7% with 9.5 projected wins, while Michigan State and Penn State each have a 0.1% chance of finishing undefeated, coming in with eight projected wins each.
