COLUMBUS, Ohio — Auburn had its chance to close the deal on landing Brock Glenn as its 2023 quarterback commit long before Ohio State football came into the picture. All momentum had the four-star recruit heading to the Tigers even when the offer came, but they couldn’t capitalize. Then it was Florida State’s turn to lead the pack. The Seminoles led the race as recently as 15 days ago, coming off a month of official visits. They couldn’t capitalize on it either. The Buckeyes were among that group getting theirs on June 17. TCU was the only program to get an official visit but never have it capitalize into much of anything. Instead, for the past 48 hours, a kid that was expected to choose Auburn and then expected to choose Florida State chose OSU. Doing so checked off another goal for the 2023 cycle.
