COLUMBUS, Ohio — Every Ohio State football recruiting class during the Ryan Day era has been ranked among the top five nationally Those four classes have pulled in 34 top-100 recruits, 14 of which were five stars — and that’s including a 2023 class currently ranked fourth in the country. That is a quality start to a coaching tenure at a program that expects to compete for championships. “I’m very pleased with how we’ve recruited,” Day said. “When it’s all said and done when we get to December, I think we’ll have a great class again this year.” But that’s before you add context for what makes those numbers so good.
