Ohio State football filled its third safety spot in the 2023 class Sunday. Jayden Bonsu, a four-star safety out of Hillsdale, New Jersey, committed to the Buckeyes Sunday over Michigan State, Penn State, Alabama and Miami. Bonsu, who stands at 6-foot-1, 210 pounds, is the No. 259 player and the No. 22 safety in the 2023 class and is the No. 4 prospect out of New Jersey. Last season for St. Peter’s Prep, Bonsu had 62 tackles, 7.5 tackles-for-loss, 2.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and two interceptions at safety.
