
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Former Ohio State football player Quinn Ewers has been named Texas’ starting quarterback for the 2022 season. Ewers originally committed to the Longhorns as the top-rated player in the 2022 class before flipping to the Buckeyes two months after the decision. He then proceeded to make a list of significant decisions that eventually landed him in Austin as the starter. The first step towards that was by reclassifying to the 2021 class and enrolling six months earlier than expected as the four scholarship quarterbacks on OSU’s roster.
