COLUMBUS, Ohio — Former Ohio State football player Joshua Perry will get to make his commentating debut during his alma mater’s game against Arkansas State on Saturday. Perry played linebacker for the Buckeyes from 2012-15 and was a member of the 2014 national title team. He was a fourth-round pick to the then-San Diego Chargers in the 2016 NFL Draft. He played for both the Chargers and Indianapolis Colts before spending his final NFL month with the Seahawks in the summer of 2018. The Columbus native has since became a member of the media working for the Big Ten Network and also hosts a radio show on 97.1 The Fan. Saturday he will begin his career as a color commentator alongside play-by-play caller Mark Followill and sideline reporter Elise Menaker.
