Ohio State football remains at No. 3 in latest Associated Press, coaches polls

There was movement atop the latest Associated Press poll released Sunday, but it did not involve Ohio State. While Georgia flipped with Alabama at the top spots, the Buckeyes remained at No. 3 behind the Southeastern Conference powers. All three of the teams won Saturday, but the Crimson Tide appeared most vulnerable, avoiding an upset at Texas by escaping with a narrow 20-19 win. The Bulldogs began their move up last week, bolstered by a beatdown of Oregon, to overtake Ohio State, which had debuted at No. 2 in the preseason rankings. Georgia received 53 out of 63 first-place votes in the poll, while Alabama picked up nine and OSU had one. The Buckeyes, leaving this weekend with a 45-12 win over Arkansas State, have seen their share of first-place votes decline. They had been atop two ballots last week and six in the preseason.
