Ohio State’s secondary will be without starting safeties Tanner McCalister and Josh Proctor against Toledo on Saturday night. They did not participate in the final round of pregame warmups, watching from the sideline in street clothes. Neither McCalister, nor Proctor was listed as unavailable on the Buckeyes’ pregame status report, but a team spokesman confirmed the players would be out for the final non-conference game against the Rockets.
