COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football has routinely dominated its games against Rutgers since the Scarlet Knights job the Big Ten. Only twice has OSU failed to score 50 points, and it scored 49 in each of those. The talent gap between the two programs can’t be overstated and the 2022 version of that should be no different. The Buckeyes have reached that part of the Big Ten schedule where whether it wins or not isn’t up for question. Instead, the focus will be building on the immediate and distant future. That means improving on things that could potentially prevent them from winning a national title. It also means providing a chance for younger guys to extend valuable experience that could payoff down the road.
