EAST LANSING – Three games, three losses. That’s the skid Michigan State is riding since opening the season 2-0. There are numerous reasons the Spartans are mired in an ugly losing streak, including falling behind early. In each of the last three games, Michigan State gave up a touchdown on the opponent’s opening possession. Only once did the Spartans immediately answer with a score of their own and that was in last week’s 27-13 loss at Maryland.
