It was a point where the Badgers needed poise, having allowed Ohio State to score two goals in 28 seconds. They survived that second-period stretch but not the third period. UW allowed just four shots on goal in the final frame but two of them went in as the 14th-ranked Buckeyes rallied to hand the Badgers a crushing 4-3 defeat. They’re 0-2 for the second straight season. It’s the first time UW has started two straight seasons with two losses since 1984 and 1985.
