EAST LANSING – What looked like a mismatch on paper was just that on the field. No. 3 Ohio State (6-0, 3-0 Big Ten) closed as a 27-point favorite and rolled to a 49-20 win against Michigan State on Saturday in East Lansing. It was the fourth straight loss for the Spartans and their seventh in a row to the Buckeyes. The last three have been by a combined margin of 157-39. For the second straight year, quarterback C.J. Stroud dismantled a struggling secondary. The Heisman Trophy candidate was 21-for-26 passing for 361 yards, six touchdowns and one interception. It was also the second straight year Stroud threw six touchdown passes against the Spartans before exiting the game in the third quarter.
