EAST LANSING, Mich. — Five rants as the Ohio State Buckeyes beat the Michigan State Spartans 49-20 on Saturday. * Defensive tackle Mike Hall Jr. remains easily the most disruptive force on the interior of the Ohio State defensive line. That makes it curious why he wasn’t playing like a starter Saturday. He did miss a game earlier this season with an injury. And Ohio State has always liked to rotate at tackle. Maybe defensive line coach Larry Johnson is saving the second-year player, who barely played last season, for the long haul. But he’s as much of a difference maker as any player on the defense.
