AP Top 25 poll: Where is Ohio State football in the Week 7 college rankings?


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football is on the move again in the updated college rankings. The Buckeyes jumped past Alabama to take over the No. 2 spot in the Associated Press Top 25 poll. Ohio State’s share of first-place votes doubled in the past week from 10 to 20. Georgia reclaimed No. 1 with 32 first-place votes and 1,535 points. Ohio State was 27 points behind. Alabama, which was No 1 last week, received the other 11 top-spot votes for 1,489 points. Alabama is in position to make a jump next week, though, if it wins at No. 6 Tennessee. Or perhaps the Volunteers would join the group of teams receiving first-place votes if they beat Bama. Ohio State was ranked No. 2 in the preseason poll, dropped to No. 3 after the first week of games and has remained there ever since.. The Buckeyes won 49-20 at Michigan…
