COLUMBUS, Ohio — We’re two months away from Signing Day, and Ohio State football’s 2023 recruiting class is near complete. So why not take one more shot at predicting how things will finish out? Our first shot at predicting the class came after the early signing period for the 2022 class featuring 22 players worth 316.30 points with 11 top-100 recruits. That list had six players who have already committed, with five-star wide receiver Brandon Inniss the highest-rated of the bunch. Our second shot featured 27 players worth 316.38 points. It followed a month of official visits in June, which has typically led to a wide range of commitments soon after. That didn’t quite happen at the level one would’ve anticipated this time.
