Former Ohio State QB facing drug charges after police say they found him ‘unresponsive’ in hotel


It looks like Art Schlichter is in trouble again and possibly lucky to be alive. According to multiple reports, the former Ohio State quarterback has been charged with possession of cocaine in Hilliard, Ohio after he was found unresponsive at Hampton Inn. The incident reportedly occurred back on June 6 but is just now being reported from court documents after the charges were filed Oct. 5. Police in Hilliard say they were called to the Hampton Inn for a report of an overdose and found the 62-year-old former Buckeyes and Indianapolis Colts quarterback unresponsive. They reportedly gave him Narcan and took him to the hospital. Police say they found a substance in the room that tests confirmed to be .26 grams of cocaine.
