'It's still revenge': Ohio State football looks to avenge upset by Iowa five years later

Only three now-sixth-year seniors were with Ohio State when it suffered an upset loss at Iowa in 2017. But the defeat is still on the minds of Buckeyes players this week as they prepare for a matchup with the Hawkeyes on Saturday, their first since the setback from half a decade ago. It was a topic raised by coach Ryan Day during a team meeting on Tuesday and one he referred to as a “scar that doesn’t go away” when he met earlier with reporters at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center. “That’s probably still in his heart,” wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. said. “They had a good team that year. When they lost that game, their season was kind of over.
