COLUMBUS, Ohio — One Ohio State football cornerback returns, and another keeps looking for his way back onto the field — and back to his previous form. The Buckeyes’ pregame status report contained good news and bad for the secondary. On the positive side, Jordan Hancock will make his long-awaited season debut. The redshirt freshman cornerback, who had been expected to compete for a starting job, sustained a lower leg injury early in preseason camp that finally healed up enough during the past week off. On the negative side, Cameron Brown is unavailable for the fourth time in five games. Brown returned to play at Michigan State but hardly looked like the confident, fundamentally sound player who helped solidify the position last season.
