
What does Penn State’s resurgence against Minnesota mean for the bigger picture of its season? We’re about to find out Saturday in Happy Valley. After getting thrashed by Michigan, the Lions looked rejuvenated and more ready to compete against high-level teams. They don’t get much more talented than the Ohio State Buckeyes, a College Football Playoff regular that has been perhaps the most dominant team in the country. The Nittany Lions are 15-point underdogs on their home field, and they face a tall task trying to crack the Buckeyes on both sides of the ball. Ohio State is led by a Heisman hopeful on quarterback C.J. Stroud and has NFL talent up and down its roster. On paper, it’s a mismatch, but Penn State does have plenty of experience playing Ohio State far closer than point spreads might suggest.
