STATE COLLEGE, Pa. — Ohio State football will face perhaps the best secondary on its schedule without Jaxon Smith-Njigba. The preseason All-American was listed as unavailable on the Buckeyes’ pregame status report. Jaxon Smith-Njigba will be out of action for the fourth time in the last six games and the fifth in eight games this season. A hamstring injury has hampered Smith-Njigba’s season since early in the season opener against Notre Dame. He returned last week against Iowa after a three-game absence, but appeared to aggravate the injury on the final route he ran in the second quarter. He was seen flexing his upper leg and doing some running on the sideline but did not return to the game. Ohio State coach Ryan Day said Smith-Njigba had reached his pre-set limit of plays for the game. DraftKings Sportsbook STATES: OHIO PRE-REG GET THE APP PRE-REGISTRATION $200 BONUS + NEW USER…
