On the final play of the first quarter, Williams was knocked out of bounds by Penn State safety Ji’Ayir Brown at the end of a 5-yard run. He fell backwards and landed on his right arm. After being slow to get up, Williams walked off the field with medical personnel, who appeared to be attending to that right arm.
