COLUMBUS, Ohio — There is no such thing as a normal day of practice for Ohio State football cornerback Jordan Hancock. Not anymore. Not after he couldn’t practice at the start of what was expected to be a breakout season. Hancock confirmed Wednesday the preseason injury he suffered was to his hamstring. Instead of competing for a starting job out of camp, he missed the first six games. Hancock finally made his season debut with 15 snaps against Iowa, then doubled that workload against Penn State. With starting cornerback Cameron Brown out right now with his own undisclosed injury, OSU has been eager to get the redshirt freshman back on the field. “Big-time deal,” cornerback Denzel Burke said. “We trust him.
