The Wall Street Journal Two World War II-Era Planes Collide and Crash at Texas Airshow A Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress and a Bell P-63 Kingcobra collided and crashed at the Wings Over Dallas Airshow around 1:20 p.m. local time, the FAA said. Leah Block, a spokeswoman for Commemorative Air Force, the Texas-based organization that hosted the event, said there might have been as many as six people on the aircraft. The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the collision.
