Michigan holds bragging rights in its rivalry with Ohio State for at least the next couple of days, but the Buckeyes remain ahead on the recruiting trail. At least according to national recruiting services. After the Wolverines’ 42-27 thumping of the Buckeyes last year that paved the way to a Big Ten championship and College Football Playoff appearance, some believed Michigan could close the gap with OSU in recruiting. Jim Harbaugh’s program has continued its on-field success in 2022 with an identical 11-0 record to OSU, but its hasn’t parlayed that success into many recruiting win the 2023 or 2024 cycles.
