At least according to national recruiting services. After the Wolverines’ 42-27 thumping of the Buckeyes last year that paved the way to a Big Ten championship and College Football Playoff appearance, some believed Michigan could close the gap with OSU in recruiting. Jim Harbaugh’s program has continued its on-field success in 2022 with an identical 11-0 record to OSU, but its hasn’t parlayed that success into many recruiting win the 2023 or 2024 cycles.
