COLUMBUS, Ohio – It didn’t take long for TreVeyon Henderson to establish himself as one of the nation’s better running backs his freshman year as an Ohio State football player, but he hasn’t been able to build on that in 2022. Henderson was expected to lead a deep running back room this season, but injuries have often kept him from being his best self. As a result, he’s turned 107 carries into 571 yards and six touchdowns, plus another 28 yards and a score on four catches in eight games. That 5.3 yards per carry is down 1.5 yards from last season, while he hasn’t been much of an option in the passing game after having 27 catches last season.
